One of Canada's major public institutions offering degrees, Douglas College was established in 1970 and is situated in British Columbia. Programs in healthcare, business, the arts, and human services are available through Douglas College, along with university-level courses in science and the arts. In addition to its two main campuses in New Westminster and Coquitlam's David Liam Campus suburban campus, the institute also operates a number of smaller training facilities in Surrey, Burnaby, and Maple Ridge.
