Graduate students with an IT background can use this curriculum to get started in the field. Workers in the information technology industry require a wide variety of practical skills to carry out their daily tasks. You will bring your prior knowledge of information technology to this program as a student, and you will develop your skills by learning how to use it in the workplace. In-depth instruction in a wide range of technical and soft skills that are in great demand across many industries significantly increases the employability of graduates. You will be equipped to start an exciting career as an IT Infrastructure/Operations Manager, IT Infrastructure Service Manager, or IT Infrastructure Director after completing this program.
The methods and abilities now applied in support of the IT infrastructure will be the main focus of the Information Technology Infrastructure Ontario College Graduate Certificate. The use of Windows and Linux operating systems, Windows server management, virtualization technologies, and network and security equipment will give students valuable knowledge and expertise. In order to function well in the business world, students will also have the chance to strengthen their communication, interpersonal, project management, and business abilities. In order to give students employable skills in operating systems, networks, and security, the curriculum will incorporate practical applications and simulations. It will also help prepare graduates to take a range of professional certification exams.
