In 1968, George Brown College opened its doors to little over 2,000 new students. Teams must plan, create, and test their own designs in the third year of the program, putting all of the skills they have learned to use. Program Learning Outcomes
The graduate has consistently shown the following abilities:

  1. Use suitable formal and informal vocabulary and communication forms to convey ideas clearly and succinctly in written, graphic, and oral form.
  2. Show the proper attitudes of responsibility.
  3. Use manuals, catalogs, specs, and codes to carry out specified design techniques. They should be able to identify issues and use accepted engineering practice to come up with workable solutions.
  4. Construct assembly drawings, detail drawings, and technical specifications, and understand them.
  5. Utilize standardized forms and methods when conducting inspections, tests, comparisons, and data compilation.
  6. contribute to the organization, management, oversight, and enhancement of manufacturing and production processes.
  7. Participate in the setup and upkeep of machinery and systems.
