In Toronto, Ontario, Canada, Humber College, also known as the Humber College Institute of Technology & Advanced Learning, is a public college for applied arts and technology. Three campuses—North Campus, Lakeshore Campus, and Downtown Campus—offer Humber College courses. The campuses collectively provide 220+ programs in 40 academic fields. The majority of courses at Humber College have two intakes: January and/or September, making the admissions procedure quite simple. All applicants must have at least a 70% overall grade point average to be accepted. All Indian students are required to submit an IELTS score of at least 6.5 for undergraduate programs and 6.0 for graduate programs as proof of their English language skills. While submitting personal essays and recommendation letters is optional for some courses, it is strongly advised if you are an overseas student.

Students who already have a bachelor's degree in a subject other than accounting and want to pursue the Chartered Professional Accounting designation can follow this curriculum. No previous accounting experience is necessary.
The only graduate certificate in accounting that offers students actual job experience is offered by Humber and is unique to Ontario. Students will develop contacts in the industry and acquire experience in small, medium, and large organizations as well as in start-up businesses through a required 160-hour work placement.
