The Loyalist College began as a neighborhood high school in 1967 and moved into its current location on Wallbridge-Loyalist Road in 1968. The United Empire Loyalists, who settled in the region where the college was formed, are the source of the college's name. A public college called Loyalist is situated in Belleville, Ontario, Canada. International students who have registered at Loyalist College are given a number of scholarships each year. All enrolled students at our Belleville location are eligible to apply. Accommodations and facilities at Loyalist College are accessible to international students. There are 5 buildings for students, with a total capacity of 474. 112 kids are housed in 4 townhouse blocks. The Residence Commons features a snack station, a security office, laundry facilities, and an entertainment room with computers. Students can utilize the television, ping pong tables, and pool tables in the entertainment room.  There are more over 40,000 notable alumni and faculty members from Loyalist College, including former morning host of FM Erin Davis, former MPP for Prince Edward-Hastings Ernie Parsons, and MP for Haliburton-Kawartha Lakes-Brock. Opportunities exist in a wide range of settings, including juvenile detention centers, child welfare homes, federal and provincial prisons, attendance centers, community justice organizations, victim support groups, and various residential facilities for at-risk populations.

Graduates who successfully complete the recruitment process for the provincial or federal correctional system will receive additional training when hired.

Since there is such a high demand for professionals in community and justice services, many students get job offers even before they graduate.
