The Loyalist College began as a neighborhood high school in 1967 and moved into its current location on Wallbridge-Loyalist Road in 1968. The United Empire Loyalists, who settled in the region where the college was formed, are the source of the college's name. A public college called Loyalist is situated in Belleville, Ontario, Canada. Accommodations and facilities at Loyalist College are accessible to international students. There are 5 buildings for students, with a total capacity of 474. 112 kids are housed in 4 townhouse blocks. The Residence Commons features a snack station, a security office, laundry facilities, and an entertainment room with computers. Anyone offering legal representation in Ontario must have a license from the Law Society of Ontario. Graduates with a Loyalist diploma are eligible to apply for a Class P1 license, which provides access to:

Fee-for-service advocate, defending clients before administrative bodies such the Ontario Landlord and Tenant Board, the Provincial Offences Court, the Small Claims Court, and Criminal Court.

Provincial crime prosecutors, paralegals in the legal divisions of the federal and provincial governments, legal assistants in law firms and community legal clinics, and support personnel for the administration of courts.

In the public sector, a junior paralegal's beginning pay ranges between $45,000 and $48,000.
