The Niagara College of Applied Arts and Technology is a public college of applied arts and technology located in the Niagara Region and the city of Toronto in Southern Ontario, Canada. It is sometimes abbreviated as Niagara College and marketed as Niagara College Canada. There are 12,500 full-time students at the college, including roughly 4,000 from different overseas countries. It provides about 100 advanced level programs, baccalaureate degrees, and post-secondary diplomas. With almost 50,000 graduates, Niagara College has 291 faculty, 89 administration employees, and 224 support personnel. Niagara College was established in Welland in 1967 to provide students more courses focused on careers. This was the first institution in Canada to provide courses in winemaking and brewing. As tourism grew in Canada, the institution established the Tourism Industry Development Center (TIDC) to provide students with training in the industry. The Welland Campus, the Niagara-on-the-Lake Campus, and the Taif Campus are the three operational campuses for the college. Located at 100 Niagara College Boulevard is the Welland campus.
