You need to be adequately prepared for working with actual clients, which goes beyond lectures and textbooks. Use problem-based learning and supervised placements to apply information from your kinesiology degree in a clinical setting. You will have completed 728 hours of practical training when you graduate, more than you will in any other kinesiology degree in Ontario.

To support clients' fitness and wellness goals, develop, administer, and assess safe training programs based on the fundamentals of anatomy, biomechanics, cardiorespiratory physiology, the musculoskeletal system, and nutrition.
teach individuals and groups the proper methods for carrying out exercise and training regimens in a range of settings to produce outcomes that appropriately match their fitness and health objectives.
Create interviewing techniques and coaching techniques to work with clients and groups to develop goals for enhancing their wellness and fitness in long-lasting ways.
Prepare operational strategies that cover financial, human resource, and management objectives while reducing all risks for a fitness and/or training business organization to ensure sustainability and viability.
Create, carry out, and assess a public health promotion program or strategy that encourages people to live active, healthy lifestyles.
When delivering programs, events, and using facilities, cultivate and maintain strong relationships with volunteers, staff, and health professionals.
Giving clients encouragement will give them confidence and will encourage them to keep up their good work.
Analyze the dietary requirements for people/clients at all stages of life and activity levels.
To help clients achieve their goals for wellness and fitness, develop suggestions for wholesome eating habits and dietary choices.
Practice within the bounds of accepted legal, ethical, and safety guidelines and professional kinesiology competences.
While developing and putting into practice health improvement plans, use clinical kinesiology techniques that are founded on evidence.
