Explore the many options in the culinary sector by starting at SLC. The culinary programs at St. Lawrence College provide method-based, immersive, hands-on learning that is connected with work. In a supportive, hands-on learning environment, our programs are quality-based and taught by personable Chef educators with a variety of backgrounds. Our curriculum combines academic and practical application courses to introduce students to all facets of cooking. Small class sizes let each student grow personally into a capable and considerate cook. The SLC Culinary Faculty is proud of the achievements of its alumni, and we are always enhancing our curricula to produce graduates in the culinary field who are prepared for success. All culinary programs provide students the freedom to choose between a Culinary Management Diploma (a two-year program) or a Culinary Skills Certificate (a one-year program). When choosing to transfer between a one-year and two-year culinary certificate or degree, a seamless transition is provided by the fact that the first and second semester courses are the same for all culinary programs.

Scholarship: St. Lawrence College offers over 500 bursaries each year through its Scholarships and Bursaries program. Interested applicants only need to fill out one application to be considered for all bursaries, which usually range from CAD 500 to CAD 3,000.
