With this program, you will typically complete your work placements in a rural or small-town school. As part of this program, you must select a major and minor that can be taught as high school subjects. Augustana Campus is located in Camrose, Alberta, one hour southeast of Edmonton. It is home to just over 1,000 students from around the world.

Smaller class sizes, a more flexible academic calendar, and liberal arts and scientific degree programs are all available at Augustana. The Augustana Calendar, a modified semester structure, is another option provided by Augustana. Each semester consists of a three-week session where students take one course, followed by an 11-week period where they can take up to four courses. This allows you to take on more research, travel, and other experiential learning projects while at the same time lightening your burden and decreasing stress.
