The University of Alberta (The U of A) is a sizable, all-encompassing, and inspiring institution that is regarded in the top 100 universities worldwide and among the top five universities in Canada. The University of Alberta is home to about 36,000 students, including 7,000 international ones. At the university, more than 130 different countries are represented. The University of Arizona, established in 1908, has a long tradition of creative teaching and research. As a result, it has developed a reputation as a top university globally. It consistently performs well in comparison to other universities throughout the world and excels in several academic fields.

Due to the committed International Student Services team's warmth and friendliness, international students will feel right at home on campus. Students can select from a range of on-campus lodgings to meet their needs, and they can also get scholarships as rewards for their academic achievements. There are numerous activities that students can engage in outside of class. The University of Alberta is a popular choice for students because of its dynamic and diverse surroundings. Students who live in Edmonton, Alberta, can take advantage of the city's youthful energy and robust economy. The picturesque North Saskatchewan River valley, one of the largest urban parks on the planet, is above the north campus, where students can cycle, walk, ski, and engage in a variety of other activities.

The university strives to create an empowering student experience that prepares individuals to make a positive difference to the world after they graduate. The U of A has one of the highest graduate employment rates in Canada, and the province of Alberta has the highest average salaries in the country.

The Advanced Nursing Practice concentration was added to the Master of Nursing program in 1997, which had been founded in 1975. The curriculum equips nurses to assume leadership positions in nursing and healthcare. Students can exhibit specific clinical abilities with the use of the theoretical, practical, and research-based foundation for practice. In either the thesis- or course-based track, master's students can enroll full- or part-time.

Admission to the Family All Ages and Adult MN NP entrance to practice clinical streams of our MN program has been temporarily suspended. We are designing a new curriculum that will equip nurse practitioners to meet the requirements of Canadians and the healthcare system in the future as part of a large curriculum overhaul we are undertaking in our graduate programs.   The 2019–20 academic year will be used to design this new curriculum, and we estimate that an admission will take place in September 2020. As the curriculum develops, we will update this page with new information.
