We educate engineers who are competent to address the most pressing global issues. You will use the fundamental ideas of physics, chemistry, and specialized fields like biotechnology and nanotechnology to solve important issues in our neighborhood. Processes, facilities, and control systems will be analyzed and designed for productivity, sustainability, and safety.

Chemical engineering: what is it? Chemical engineering involves creating effective methods for generating, using, transporting, and transforming materials and energy. Chemical engineers are employed in many different sectors. This covers both large-scale businesses like energy production and mineral processing. Additionally, chemical engineers are involved in the manufacturing of consumer goods like food and cosmetics. As a Process Engineer, you may recover iron ore from unprocessed mine feed. Alternately, you may create a sustainable biofuel industry for isolated populations. Alternately, you might try to purge groundwater of dangerous metals and chemicals.

There are several industries where chemical engineers are employed. Roles are adaptable and varied. You could like practical fieldwork, design, or development. Or perhaps you'd prefer a management position overseeing staff and projects. Produce goods like paints, plastics, fertilizers, consumables, and medicines. You might also work to advance industries like waste management, recycling, renewable energy, resource use, and environmental control. Of the top Fortune 500 CEOs, engineering is the degree that is most frequently held. Engineers run several of the world's largest corporations, including Google, Microsoft, Amazon, and Tesla Motors.
