Newcastle University, sometimes referred to as the University of Newcastle (UON), is a public university in Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia. It was founded in 1965, and its main campus is in the Callaghan neighborhood of Newcastle. The institution also has campuses in Singapore, Newcastle CBD, Sydney CBD, Port Macquarie, and Ourimbah.

 

The University of Newcastle is a part of Universities Australia, the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business, and the Australian Technology Network. The Wollotuka Institute at the university provides courses in Indigenous studies. Additionally, the Pathways and Academic Learning Support Centre offers Indigenous students, students who have recently left high school, and students who are mature-aged programs for postsecondary preparation.

Scholarships: 

Benefit

You will be paid AU$1250 per 10 units of study.

 

The scholarship is valued at AU$10,000 for each year of study under a standard full-time study load of 80 units. The payment will be applied directly to your student account for each term of study in your eligible program(s) as a tuition fee reduction. The amount applied is on a pro rata basis and will be adjusted according to approved reduced study load, credit exemptions, progression or enrolment above full-time study load.
