The University of Southern Queensland, also known as UniSQ and formerly known as USQ, is a medium-sized regional university with three campuses located in Toowoomba, Springfield, and Ipswich in Queensland, Australia. It provides classes in the following fields: law, medicine, engineering, science, business, education, and the arts. It runs three research institutes and seven research centers that concentrate on a variety of commercial, agricultural, scholarly, scientific, technological, and environmental challenges.

Australia's largest Japanese-designed garden, Australia's largest solar-integrated parking, and a library with rainforest and water elements are among the university's notable features. The university has received praise for its initiatives to reduce violence against women, and the Federal Government's Workplace Gender Equality Agency (WGEA) named it an employer of choice for gender equality.

As a regional university, UniSQ makes sure that its curricula meet the needs of the local and regional labor market, participate in regional social and economic development, and support the local community.

Join a team that develops smart robots, pushes the boundaries of aerospace, implements renewable energy, and develops novel eco-materials to solve actual industrial challenges. Develop expertise in maximizing the performance of smart systems across a wide range of industries, including manufacturing, transportation, aerospace, health/medical (biotech), mining, agriculture, government, start-up (entrepreneurship), and robotics (autonomous systems), under the direction of UniSQ's team of top academics.

To create smarter machines, devices, and processes, you'll work with a combination of mechanical, electrical, control, and software disciplines. Create a love for problem-solving in the real world, interacting with physical systems, prototyping, and performance tuning. Be motivated by the students who came before you and produced projects like using LEGO to help stroke victims recover, improving autonomous weed detection and control, creating a force feedback system for use in direct human-to-machine interaction, and asset monitoring using mobile robots with machine vision and sensory capabilities. With the practical skills to combine cutting-edge technology and robotics to revolutionize tomorrow's economy long into the future, graduates will be prepared for the most cutting-edge employment of the future.
