The University of Southern Queensland, also known as UniSQ and formerly known as USQ, is a medium-sized regional university with three campuses located in Toowoomba, Springfield, and Ipswich in Queensland, Australia. It provides classes in the following fields: law, medicine, engineering, science, business, education, and the arts. It runs three research institutes and seven research centers that concentrate on a variety of commercial, agricultural, scholarly, scientific, technological, and environmental challenges.

Australia's largest Japanese-designed garden, Australia's largest solar-integrated parking, and a library with rainforest and water elements are among the university's notable features. The university has received praise for its initiatives to reduce violence against women, and the Federal Government's Workplace Gender Equality Agency (WGEA) named it an employer of choice for gender equality.

As a regional university, UniSQ makes sure that its curricula meet the needs of the local and regional labor market, participate in regional social and economic development, and support the local community.

With a degree from UniSQ, you may practice as a licensed physiotherapist and help people live better lives.

After completing a range of industrial assignments, students with the Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honors) degree will be career-ready.  Learn about the processes, movements, and anatomy of the human body from seasoned academics and business experts to hone your practical and critical thinking abilities. You will receive experience in acute care, rehabilitation, and community settings over the five placement opportunities. Learn how to give First Nations, rural, regional, and low-resource communities the help they so desperately need.

Musculoskeletal health, neuroanatomy, digital health services, neurological physiotherapy, helping persons with acute diseases, and pediatric physiotherapy are among topics included in physiotherapy courses. There may also be options to study Pilates, hydrotherapy, chronic pain treatment, and animal physiotherapy.
This degree meets the criteria established by the Australian Physiotherapy Council (APC), and UniSQ is now applying for accreditation with the APC. The Australian Physiotherapy Association (APA) may also accept graduates as members.

You have the choice of completing your honors in one of two ways:

  • The practice pathway covers common practice issues and places an emphasis on industry relationships.
  • The research pathway, which is based on GPA, enables you to design a personal research project.
