The University of Southern Queensland, also known as UniSQ and formerly known as USQ, is a medium-sized regional university with three campuses located in Toowoomba, Springfield, and Ipswich in Queensland, Australia. It provides classes in the following fields: law, medicine, engineering, science, business, education, and the arts. It runs three research institutes and seven research centers that concentrate on a variety of commercial, agricultural, scholarly, scientific, technological, and environmental challenges.

The Bachelor of Urban and Regional Planning (Honors) program at UniSQ allows you to learn more about town planning. Your studies will cover both the Queensland and New South Wales planning legislation and prepare you to be an urban and regional planner and designer of the future for cities, regional areas, and rural areas. The University of Queensland is the only institution in Queensland to provide a fully online planning certification.  Build your knowledge of community consultation, sustainable land use, planning laws and procedures, economics, transportation planning, urban design, plan creation, and project management. in UniSQ Toowoomba, you may study on-campus or online while gaining real-world experience in a number of residential schools. In your fourth year, select a research project to look into a particular area of urban and regional planning. This can open up opportunities for more study and research.

 

CAREER OUTCOMES
