The University of Southern Queensland, also known as UniSQ and formerly known as USQ, is a medium-sized regional university with three campuses located in Toowoomba, Springfield, and Ipswich in Queensland, Australia. It provides classes in the following fields: law, medicine, engineering, science, business, education, and the arts. It runs three research institutes and seven research centers that concentrate on a variety of commercial, agricultural, scholarly, scientific, technological, and environmental challenges.
Australia's largest Japanese-designed garden, Australia's largest solar-integrated parking, and a library with rainforest and water elements are among the university's notable features. The university has received praise for its initiatives to reduce violence against women, and the Federal Government's Workplace Gender Equality Agency (WGEA) named it an employer of choice for gender equality.
As a regional university, UniSQ makes sure that its curricula meet the needs of the local and regional labor market, participate in regional social and economic development, and support the local community.
Ideal if you have an engineering degree from three years ago but no professional experience.
You will receive the chance to participate in hands-on laboratory sessions and 60 days of industrial exposure with an emphasis on practical experience. Additionally, you will complete a research project and dissertation that apply all of your academic learning to a real-world issue. Your project will provide light on the field of civil engineering, whether it be via the hazards that natural catastrophes pose to buildings or through the testing of innovative building materials. Additionally, the research project and dissertation might serve as a prerequisite for higher-level research degrees like the PhD.
