The main campus of the modern, rapidly expanding University of the Sunshine Coast (USC) is situated in Sippy Downs on the Sunshine Coast of Queensland. The Sunshine Coast is a region of endless beaches, beautiful rainforests, and vast hinterlands located in the tropical state of Queensland on Australia's east coast. It is home to the architecturally varied USC Sunshine Coast campus, which is famous for its environmentally sustainable approach. The campus is only 90 kilometers (55 miles) north of the state's capital, Brisbane. The USC Sunshine Coast campus is located on a 100-hectare protected wildlife reserve that serves as a haven for native Australian species and as a special learning space for students at places like the USC K'gari Research and Learning Centre on Fraser Island. Modern learning and teaching spaces, cutting-edge 3D visualization tools, a contemporary high-performance sports complex, an art gallery, a sizable on-campus library, many 24-hour computer labs, and a variety of cafés offering a wide range of nutritious food options are just a few of the facilities available at USC.
Students at USC benefit from a top-notch educational experience while taking advantage of the Sunshine Coast's laid-back atmosphere. In seven major academic fields—business, IT, and tourism; creative industries, design, and communication; education; engineering, planning, and science; health, nursing, and sport sciences; humanities, psychology, and social sciences; and law and criminology—USC offers more than 120 degree programs and 280 course options at the undergraduate and graduate levels. With 26 research fields currently recognized at global class or above, USC's status as a leading university for research is expanding every year. When we talk about university accommodation, it is essential for international students to organise either short or long-term accommodation before they arrive so they know they have somewhere to stay when they get to the University. There are a variety of accommodation options close to campus which includes an option to live in a student village, share a house or find a place of their own.
