Consumer and business behavior, the job market, healthcare, the environment, technology and innovation, economic growth and development, monetary and fiscal policy, international commerce and finance, and the state of the global economy are all of interest to economists.
You will complete a foundation year that covers all of the essential business disciplines, providing you a firm grasp of the problems that organizations are now confronting. You'll start majoring in Economics in your second year. Students who majored in economics will have a macroeconomic and microeconomic understanding of how national and global economies function. Economists, business forecasters, investment analysts, real estate analysts, strategists, and statisticians are among the professions in economics. Additionally, you will complete a capstone project in your final year that will allow you to put all that you have learned into practice while working with students from other academic fields. Additionally, you have the choice to apply for an internship to get worthwhile experience while earning academic credit.
Both macroeconomic and microeconomic theory will be studied, with a focus on policy and how it affects functioning economies. The factors that affect supply and demand for different commodities and services, how prices are established, consumption and investment patterns, global impacts on the economy, the function of government in the economy, the value of money, and interest rates will all be discussed. You can enroll in a postgraduate business Master's degree after earning your Bachelor of Business (Economics) and be eligible for up to 4 subject credits, which will cut the length of your master's degree to one year.
